Poligon Educational#
I was dreaming about an educational hub since the first year of college. Collaboration, teamwork, and discussions have always worked better for me and my education than competition, rankings, grades, or medals.
I wanted to reach like-minded people and start a community of learners. The more I advanced in my niches (my BSc. is in physics, then my MSc. and PhD. in mathematics), my curiosity expanded, and I took, then taught philosophy courses, while learning history of mathematics on my own.
In October 2022, I took the definitive step and founded Poligon Educational, based on ideas and plans that I’d been cooking for at least ten years.
At its core there’s the need of an open dialogue, as a foundation for teamwork, learning, and collaboration. The more disinformation and misinformation spread, the more important education in general, and scientific education in particular become. Critical thinking is eroded and rarefied, and we are trying to counter its decline by making mathematics friendlier, more applied, more approachable.
We offer private tutoring services, both for grade improvement, and for exams, as well as courses and workshops which show that the mind works best when you don’t treat it as a rigidly partitioned cabinet. Mathematics can be enriched by arts, literature, technology, philosophy, or gaming.
